Lata Mangeshkar ReimaginedFeaturing some of Latin music’s most celebrated artists
The voice India grew up with, heard anew — as Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic original vocal performances meet some of Latin music’s most celebrated artists in beautiful new arrangements rooted in the great Cuban and Latin musical traditions.

The Concept
MORE THAN A MUSIC PROJECT.
A cultural dialogue.
A visual journey.
India meets Latin America.
Iconic voices. Timeless songs.
A new musical conversation.
This is not a conventional remix project. It is a carefully crafted musical conversation, bringing Lata’s unmistakable voice together with leading Latin artists and world-class live musicianship.
The arrangements draw on the intimacy of bolero, the movement of son, and the rich musical traditions of Cuba and Latin America — always with Lata’s original voice, phrasing and emotional integrity at the center.
Each guest artist becomes part of a genuine musical dialogue, connecting two of the world’s richest musical cultures while introducing these extraordinary recordings to new audiences and a new generation.
The Artist
